Celebrate International Women's Day with the Connecticut Women's Consortium as we hear from experts about empowering women, and all people, to have agency over their health - physical, mental and spiritual. On site registration includes opportunities for interaction with healing arts practitioners.
Additional Information: speakers will serve to educate, as well as engage in meaningful discussion in guiding women, and all people, to create informed and inclusive decisions with their practitioners with regard to healthcare choices and much more. We will also offer informational sessions to bring awareness to the importance of individual self-care and the many forms it takes as what works for one person may not be suitable for another. The various practiced techniques with participants during our event to promote healing and expression are: Breathwork with attention to timing both inhale and exhale, Meditation and slight rhythmic body movement, Sound healing in a drumming circle.
A vendors area will also be on-site.
